Nokia keeps opening its online music stores around the world. Next on their list is Spain, where just today the Finnish giant announced the grand opening.
Sony Ericsson’s new phone is green at heart

For a phone made from recycled materials, the Sony Ericsson GreenHeart concept cellphone is one good looking gizmo. The concept isn’t being thought of as a production-ready option (not yet at least!) but since SE are showing it off to industry partners and customers, in a bid to develop and design its features, we’re guessing the basic idea behind the green phone might be seen in Sony Ericsson handsets in times to come.
Suekichi’s steampunk watches range from the traditional to the quirky
If you ever stumble across a steampunk watch, try squinting at the dial and you’ll realize it is one of master craftsman Haruo Suekichi’s labors of love. While the whole world is pursuing sophistication and is going digital, this nimble-fingered watchmaker has chosen to rewind time (pun intended!). He has lost count, but an estimate quickly tells him around 6000-7000 of his antique creations wow people across the world. Fabricated with brass and leather primarily, each of the watches tell a story – a reminiscence of how a stint in the flea market unwound the watchmaker’s creativity. And no two watches are similar, if you pay attention. Kuromati, the dragon tail watch, appeals to the child in you, while the corked canon watch and the holster watch take you on a wild ride into the fantasy realms, conjured by Jules Verne.
Philips Xenium X600 Mobile Phone
Philips makes us busy with their new Xenium X600 handset. This entry level phone features 2MP camera, Stereo Bluetooth connectivity, GSM/EDGE, microSD memory card slot and 8.5 hours of talk time. No word on pricing or availability so far.
Latest Gigabyte GSmart Handsets
The MW702 and MS802 are two new handsets from Gigabyte from the GSmart range. Both PDA phones shares the same specifications including Marvell PXA270 520MHz processor with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS, a 2.8 inch 65k color TFT LCD at 240 x 320 resolution, 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM, GPS navigation, 3MP camera with autofocus, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, Mini USB 2.0 port and microSD memory card slot. The Gigabyte GSmart MW702 offers EDGE, meanwhile the Gigabyte GSmart MS802 supports HSDPA connectivity. These handsets will be available soon in Hungary. [
First Camera Makers Go Ga-Ga For Megapixels; Now Cell Phone Makers, Too
Just as the race for more and more megapixels has long hit the digital point-and-shoot camera market, cell phone makers have now been bit with the same bug.
Sony Ericsson GreenHeart Concept
The GreenHeart is a new phone concept from Sony Ericsson, which has a similar design with the Sony Ericsson W880 phone. The handset features bio-plastic casing and keypads that can be easily recycled. The GreenHeart does not come with a manual book because the user’s manual is entirely HTML-based to save paper. I think it is a great idea to save the Earth. In addition, it has a battery charger which is automatically turn off when the phone’s battery is fully recharged.

Studio X gets “America’s Got Talent” license from Freemantle Media
FremantleMedia Enterprises has partnered exclusively with Studio X, and granted them the Mobile rights to the America’s Got Talent brand. This effectively means that Studio X will have rights for US and Canada for the game, which is being rolled out across Operators.
Fujitsu does LTE deal with NTT DoCoMo
Fujitsu has been chosen by NTT DoCoMo to be a supplier of the core networking systems (EPC, or “Evolved Packet Core”) for the next-gen LTE (4G) network. This follows a 2006 deal for Fujitsu to develop and manufacture the wireless base stations and handsets for the network. The new systems will integrate with Nokia hardware and software being installed there too.
